I had an absolutely terrible experience at this massage place. First off, they asked me to pay up front, which I didn’t mind too much, but things went downhill fast. The sign clearly says $50 for a 30-minute massage, but when I went to pay, the owner insisted I leave a tip for the massage therapist before I even received the service. I tried to explain that I couldn’t tip until I knew if the massage was good or not, but she insisted, saying I had no choice — I had to pay the tip or leave. I told her the price was $50 for the massage, and I wasn’t comfortable paying more upfront. She responded by saying the $50 was just for the place’s rent and bills, and I had to tip the therapist on top of that. I told her it was her responsibility to pay her employees, not mine. She still insisted, saying if I wasn’t willing to pay the tip, I should leave. I’ve never been treated like this before. It’s shady and ridiculous to force customers to pay more than what’s advertised, and it’s clear they’re using some kind of scam to make extra money. This place is a joke. I have no idea how they’re still in business if they treat customers this way. Avoid this place unless you want to be strong-armed into paying more than what’s advertised.
